Elaboration

Ok. So about this amazing facebook uploader thingy.

Let me preface. Or did I already? Facebook won't allow me to use their fast uploader thing. So I'm stuck uploading 5 at a time and...it...takes...forever...

On my computer I have Picasa (google's picture manager). And I upload pictures to Picasa online. I like Picasa. And I don't want to have 3,962 other uploader programs hanging out on my computer.

So after I got back from my SoCal mini vaca, I had a lot of blogs to get caught up on. And I mean a lot.

I came across this one from the Digital Photography School site. Follow the grid at the bottom and tada!

So not only can I upload pictures to facebook from Picasa now, I can also upload to Flickr. And since I only have about 3.17% free space left on Picasa online I think I'll be using Flickr. And I'll probably become a big girl and pay the annual fee for unlimited uploading and storage space instead of the limited monthly uploading.

So that's that. It's easy. And a wonderful convenience to my life to aid in my laziness, I mean effiency.

I recommend it!

In fact, I recommend the Digital Photography School site for anyone that is interested in learning more about photography.

Remember Polaroids?

Who here loved Polaroid pictures? You know, you snap the shot, the picture pops out, then you have to shake it to develop it faster? Loved it!
Did you also know that Polaroid is no longer making the film for their cameras? So basically you've gotta find it on ebay and buy enough to last you a lifetime and be willing to pay an arm and a leg for it. Or you visit the Polaroid project and download a simple little program that will "develop" polaroid pictures for you based on your digital pictures.
How freaking cool is that?!?!
So this is what you do. Head over to the Polaroid project website. Download the program, for absolutely free. Install with the simple click of a button, or 2. Follow the directions, extremely simple. And "snap" away. Totally cool!

New Computer!

Yeah me! I got my annual bonus. I paid off bills and a credit card. And I broke down and purchased a new computer from Costco. It was time. It was either now (while I have the extra funds) or never. Now it was!

My naked desk. Ok, it's not naked, it's messy.
Ohhhh.... Ahhhhhhh....
Um, what just happened? That's not a computer. That's a Kaitlin.
OH! She decided to have some fun playing in the massive box.
Then she dragged Riley into her shenanigans. I like that word...shenanigans. It's fun to say. I challenge you to use it in a sentence this week. She looks like she's up to no good doesn't it...
Oh no...
Goodness me oh my. I have a goofy sister! But she's so stinkin' cute!
Ok, wasn't I putting together a computer? Oh yes!
Tada!
I'm still getting programs uploaded, files transferred, kinks worked out. But all in all it's working out quite lovely.

I do need to get new speakers though. Loud is not loud with the built in speakers.

I found it!

Man alive!

So I got my new phone, or iPhone, Sunday. And I've been playing and updating and downloading. But for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to blog from this thing. It can do everything else, well except send or receive picture texts, so why can't I blog.

A friend of mine told me about an app that she purchased for $10. Too much! I can wait for that amount. But I just found an app for $0.99. Much better. And it works, at least it's working!

So there's no excuse now. Right?

Now if I can figure out how to add pictures too...

New Cell Count Down

3 more days! I'm excited.

I'm so excited that I've been pre-downloading apps.

It doesn't help any that I've tested some of them on my dad or brother's iphone.

I need a new computer...

and soon!

I'm afraid to turn my laptop off. Last time it did it didn't want to come back on.

Again, tonight, blue screen of death popped up. I turned the computer off... cause really, what other option did I have? I said a little prayer. And I turned it back on. Luckily the prayer worked.

Hopefully in a couple weeks I'll be able to get a new one.

And I'm not going to Circuit City!

----------

In one week from today, I will have a little portable computer.

It will fit in the palm of my hand.

I'm uber excited!

Yeah!!!

My computer is back online! (no pun intended)... For now.

But it's late, and I'm tired.

So I'm going to bed. You'll just have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to hear more.

Sorry.
