A Pinch of Salt...
The best way to kill snails.
Or you can do like Emeril... BAM!
Although I don't have a garden overflowing with flowers, I still have snails. They congregate and hide along the fence line. But I took care of them tonight.

Fill a shallow dish with beer and put a terra cotta pot on top of it. They get drunk and can't come out.
